Re: Premier League Discussion Thread
Was speaking with the guy who does Villa Streams a few nights ago and he's going to start doing alot of streams in 720p now.
The England game last week was in 720p and it was near TV quality. Doesnt seem to work on the PS3 at the moment though.
Basically it will be all of the Sky broadcasts that will be in HD (Saturday lunchtime and evening games, Sunday games, Champs league etc), pretty much everything aside from the 3pm Saturday kick offs.

It's sad when Robbie Keane is your best player by a mile. He looks head and shoulders above anyone else in our team. I worry for when he leaves.

Re: Premier League Discussion Thread
From Villa streams:
Hi Nigel
Important Announcement Regarding Streaming of 3pm Football
As some of you may already know the FAPL have been restricting the amount
of 3pm broadcasts shown across Europe, This week the FAPL have announced
that each broadcaster may only broadcast one 3pm game per week.
This presents a problem with the amount of games shown over Europe that
satellite viewers will have access to. Unfortunately this will now make it
almost impossible to pick up lower end of the table teams via European
satellite.
The FAPL have also demanded that the broadcasters drop english commentry
in favour of the native language of the broadcasting provider.
How does this effect you?
This will mean that each week we can only guarantee 1 Premier League game
at 3pm.
We will always try and get the villa games however it may not be possible
with some games.
Sometimes we may be able to show two or three 3pm Premier League games per
week, however we can only guarantee one live 3pm.
This is something that we hope will be resolved with the various
broadcasters and the Premier League.
It is not something we wish to do, and is completely out of our hands. We
must however apologise for the obvious inconvenience this may cause.
We will of course update you in due course if and when there are any
changes that we become aware of.
Regards
